The biggest insect I have ever seen in Thailand is the Cicada. It is also the noisiest. It sounds like a helicopter flying through the air. I took these photos while staying in a Lahu village in the North. It was in Rainy season and got attracted by the light. A village girl caught it.

oh it’s really young, you can tell by the green color that remains on its body 🙂
